A young healthy ABC News producer died suddenly after suffering a heart attack, according to reports.
ABC News executive producer Dax Tejera, 37, died suddenly Friday “just a few weeks shy of his 38th birthday,” Mediaite reports.
A message from ABC president Kim Goodwin noted Tejera “passed away suddenly of a heart attack.”
ABC News Family,
It’s with a heavy heart and great sadness that we share that our friend and colleague, Dax Tejera passed away suddenly of a heart attack last night.
As EP of “This Week with George Stephanopoulos” Dax’s energy, passion and love for that show, ABC News, and you, shined every Sunday morning. That same love was extended to his precious girls.
Our thoughts are with his wife, Veronica, the couple’s two young daughters, and the entire Tejera family.

We will share more details in the coming days.
On this Christmas Eve, hug your loved ones a little tighter. And please lean on each another.

Speculation is rife Tejera died as a result of an experimental Covid injection, since his death coincides with a pattern of young healthy people dying suddenly from heart conditions, however it’s unknown whether he was vaccinated.
But as one Twitter user noted: “Heart disease can strike at any age, and Tejera may not have been vaxxed, but ABC owner Disney did have a vaccine mandate.”
As in many other cases of sudden death, everyone is left wondering: Was it the vaccine?
