B-list actress Debra Messing encouraged others to join a boycott against networks that dare to feature White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany.
In a triggered outburst Monday, Messing claimed she’d boycott the advertising sponsors of networks that give a platform to McEnany, accusing the Trump administration spokesperson of spreading “hate.”
“If I ever see @kayleighmcenany on a panel on a news show or hired by a network, I am immediately ceasing to support every single advertiser on that network,” Messing claimed, captioning her tweet with the hashtag #DeplatformHate.
The Will and Grace actress-turned-political analyst’s comments came as McEnany issued a tweet in remembrance of civil rights leader Martin Luther King, Jr., after which she was assailed by holier-than-thou liberals.
Messing’s boycott is representative of similar calls for the ouster of Republican Senators, including Sens. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and Josh Hawley (R-Mo.), after they attempted to contest the electoral college certification, and House members who voted against the second impeachment of President Trump.
McEnany worked as a Fox News producer before she became a CNN commentator in 2016, but has appeared in interviews with virtually all major networks.
