The Justice Dept. will likely strike back against the Republican governors who shipped illegal immigrants to Martha’s Vineyard, Alex Jones warns.
Already numerous Democrats are demanding the persecution of Texas Gov. Abbott and Fla. Gov. DeSantis after they captured the public’s attention by sending around 50 illegal aliens to the elitist, leftist enclave of Martha’s Vineyard where, naturally, they weren’t desired by residents.
“…All of them are saying ‘indict Republican governors for human smuggling when they’re the ones that caused the whole thing… Just incredible,” Alex Jones commented. “And they control the Justice Dept., so it’ll probably happen.”
The DOJ would have an interest in pursuing DeSantis in particular given his likely 2024 presidential aspirations.
However, leaked documents reveal the Dept. of Homeland Security made plans earlier this year to ship illegal migrants further inside the United States, with some officials even jokingly referring to it as the “Abbott plan,” according to NBC.
“The new model would use federal funds to send migrants to shelters in cities farther inside the country before they go to their final destinations,” the outlet stated. “Besides Los Angeles, they will be sent to Albuquerque, New Mexico; Houston; Dallas; and other cities.”
“…Internally, DHS officials have jokingly referred to the model as the ‘Abbott plan,’ an official said, referring to Texas Gov. Greg Abbott’s decision to bus migrants from Texas to Washington, D.C., to bring the migrant surge to the feet of the nation’s political leaders.”
Previously, the government was giving non-government organizations and religious charities grant money to shuttle migrants to shelters further inside the US.
The DHS plan, on the other hand, would give the federal government more direct control over the process, including perhaps what cities to ship migrants.
