Conservative commentator, comedian and frequent Infowars guest Alex Stein recently destroyed Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy in a war of words on Twitter.
Stein joined The American Journal Tuesday morning to provide updates on the Twitter feud.
After the official Barstool Sports Twitter account posted a viral video of Stein speaking at a Las Vegas City Council meeting only to delete the tweet after it racked up nearly 950,000 views, Stein took a screenshot of the original post and mocked the outlet for removing it.
“It’s so cute that @barstoolsports is owned by @stoolpresidente [Portnoy] who is accused of the most heinous things but they are too afraid to keep my content up,” he wrote.
The “heinous” accusations Stein referred to are likely the five women over the past year who claimed Portnoy sexually assaulted them.
After seeing the Stein tweet, Portnoy responded in anger, writing, “Buddy shut the fuck up. We are owned by a gambling company. We’ve had roughly 9000 training sessions not to post shit like this cause regulators don’t like it. @stoolsalesguy was too busy chewing gum and posted it without watching it. Go back to whatever hole you crawled out of.”
After calling out his employee who posted the video without even watching it, the Barstool Sports founder issued another message declaring war on the conservative comedian.
The establishment RINO politician Dan Crenshaw retweeted Portnoy’s message stating his hatred for the right-wing jokester.
Portnoy later clarified why he hates Stein, saying he makes “everything political” and that he “didn’t even know who this clown was or that the vid existed till he tagged me talking shit and getting personal,” adding, “So yeah I fucking hate his guts.”
Proving Stein was living rent-free in his head on Monday night, Portnoy dug through Stein’s content to find a clip of him trolling pro-abortion demonstrators.
“Anybody who does this is a piece of shit,” Portnoy wrote. “I don’t care what side of any issue you’re on if this is how you conduct yourself you’re a POS,” and vowed to “never mention” Stein again.
Breaking his promise to never mention Stein again within only nine minutes, Portnoy posted a screenshot of a direct message between him and Stein that he apparently thought was a slam.
However, it made him appear like a cocky, out-of-touch elitist triggered at being ratioed by his Twitter audience.
Stein responded by noting Portnoy is bragging about his half-billion dollars “while the majority of the country is struggling” and while allegedly participating in a “crypto coin scheme that lost people millions.”
Conservative internet personality Mike Cernovich mocked Portnoy, pointing out, “Laughing about how you advertise gambling to kids when you’re being sued for shilling a shitcoin isn’t the smartest move I’ve seen on Twitter.”
Portnoy ended the night by declaring a “good clean knockout” of Stein and telling his followers, “Nobody beats the champ. Nobody.”
However, “Primetime 99” Stein got the last laugh, posting a screenshot of direct messages where Portnoy offered him to come on his show before backing out like a coward.
Stein called out the Barstool Sports founder for being “scared” and running away from a debate, to which Portnoy responded, “You’re not worth my time. You’re too political for me. Have fun doing whatever you do for whoever you do it for. Never heard or you before. Never will talk about ya again.”
Yes, the guy who interviewed Donald Trump in July of 2020 now claims Alex Stein is “too political” for him after being shellacked online.
Over 60% of the 20,000 people polled on Twitter voted in favor of Stein winning the spat.
The rest of the internet had their way with Portnoy and Crenshaw in the aftermath of the online beef.
Last weekend, Stein joined Infowars host Owen Shroyer and dozens of fellow patriots at Barton Springs in beautiful Austin, Texas for the Infowars Summerfest 2022.
