Reports from TMZ and The Hill on Thursday led Americans to believe a “special guest” like Beyoncé or Taylor Swift would be performing at the last day of the Democratic National Convention.
The claims were likely promulgated by the Democrats to create an artificial buzz around the otherwise boring political event.

Throughout the week, Beyoncé songs were blasted through the speakers of the Chicago stadium hosting the DNC.
CBS News reporter Gayle King hinted Taylor Swift’s boyfriend Travis Kelce might somehow ditch his preseason NFL game on Thursday to attend the convention, which was another false hope given to Swifty viewers.
REPORT: #Chiefs TE Travis Kelce recently reached out to Kamala Harris’s campaign about attending the DNC tonight, according to Gayle King of CBS.
Kelce is currently on the sideline at Arrowhead.

As soon as the DNC was over, Americans scrambled to the internet to blast the party for lying to its constituents, attendees and viewers.
