Sarah Ashton-Cirillo, a 47-year-old American transgender person who joined the Ukrainian military as a medic and briefly served as their spokesperson, was recently found guilty of spreading false information about Russia’s Armed Forces and participating as a mercenary in an armed conflict.
The trans U.S. citizen was suspended from his role as Ukraine’s Territorial Defense Forces spokesperson in 2023 for threatening to assassinate “Russian propagandists,” and Russia labeled him a terrorist in 2024.
The suspension came following a public spat between Ashton-Cirillo and then-Ohio GOP Senator JD Vance, now Donald Trump’s vice president, when the Republican politician asked for the Biden regime to reveal whether the trans Ukrainian spokesperson had any ties to US intelligence or was funded by US taxpayer dollars.
Vance also asked if Ashton-Cirillo supported killing people engaged in free speech that was deemed “bad propaganda” by Ukraine and questioned whether any American citizens were “on the kill list.”
Around four months later, American journalist Gonzalo Lira was captured and killed by Ukrainian forces while reporting on the war.
Lira was one of many U.S. citizens who ended up on the now-infamous Ukrainian kill list, including the author of this article, fellow Infowars reporters Alex Jones and Chase Geiser, and murdered Infowars writer Jamie White.
Tucker Carlson, Pink Floyd co-founder Roger Waters, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and dozens of others were included on the massive list.
While Ashton-Cirillo was found guilty by Russia, the sentence was in absentia since he is not currently in captivity.
In March, the transgender Ukrainian propagandist posted to Instagram from Hamburg, Germany.
