A teenager brags he’s the one who disposed of a gun used in the murder of Infowars writer Jamie White, newly-surfaced audio recordings appear to show.
In the audio, an unidentified woman is heard speaking to an unnamed teen, who says, “…The one I threw away recently after what happened to the reporter, that was a little Taurus,” possibly referring to a sub- or micro-compact pistol.
The woman gets the teen to explain the reporter he’s talking about is Jamie White, and he admits he didn’t know the Infowars writer’s death would make national headlines or a “TikTok.”
The woman also has the teen search for a news article about the incident on his phone and has him read details aloud, establishing White as the “reporter” he was talking about.
“But that shit was crazy,” the teen says. “I didn’t…we didn’t even expect that shit to like kill someone. Well, I didn’t kill him, my homeboy did.”

The recordings were published on X Monday by independent journalist Breanna Morello, who received the audio files from an anonymous source linking White’s murder to the killing of 20-year-old Anthony Salas, who was fatally attacked while attempting to recover his family’s stolen vehicle near South Austin.

It’s unclear whether the teen heard in the audio recording has been arrested or questioned by Austin Police Department homicide detectives. It’s also unclear whether he was present at the time of White’s murder.
The audio recording comes as an arrest affidavit last week revealed one of four suspects arrested in connection to White’s murder, Rodney Charles Hill, 17, sickeningly made a rap song about killing him that referenced Jamie’s “white” race.
“The affidavit said some of the lyrics included a mention of White’s name and referenced what happened, including, “White boy came outside/Hit his damn a– with a 9,” KXAN reported last week.
While the teen heard in the aforementioned audio recording claims “Eloy” shot White, Hill’s lyrics appear to contradict that information and suggest he himself pulled the trigger.
On Monday, Morello provided additional lyrics to Infowars’ War Room obtained by police from Hill’s cell phone, after which investigators noted, “Rodney is heard speaking and laughing with an unidentified male.”
“This investigation still remains open and is still active, but we believe at this time all the individuals responsible for Jamie’s murder are in custody,” APD homicide investigator Jason Jones told reporters last week.
