An on-the-street report filmed this weekend by “The Liberty Broadcast” showed residents of Austin, Texas overwhelmingly support freedom of speech as protected by the First Amendment.

The majority of those interviewed held the belief that Infowars founder Alex Jones has the right to say what he believes no matter how offensive others might find his views.

The video comes on the heels of a jury ordering Jones to pay $49 million in a Sandy Hook-related lawsuit.

“Honestly, I don’t think they should be able to sue him for his freedom of speech because it’s just a constitutional right,” one man said.

Another guy interviewed told the camera, “Alex Jones is innocent, that judge is full of shit, she’s a total crock and she deserves to be put behind bars.”

The overall sentiment was in favor of Jones and the First Amendment despite the full force of mainstream media lobbing hardcore disinformation bombs over the past month.
