First Lady Melania Trump let the world know her son Barron tested positive for COVID-19 at the beginning of October.
In a post on Whitehouse.gov, Melania said after she and President Trump tested positive for coronavirus two weeks ago, they had Barron tested.
“Naturally my mind went immediately to our son,” she wrote. “To our great relief he tested negative, but again, as so many parents have thought over the past several months, I couldn’t help but think ‘what about tomorrow or the next day?’ My fear came true when he was tested again and it came up positive.”
She continued, “Luckily he is a strong teenager and exhibited no symptoms. In one way I was glad the three of us went through this at the same time so we could take care of one another and spend time together. He has since tested negative.”
Just like his 74-year-old father who the left claims is physically unfit and should therefore be at risk of dying of COVID, Barron was able to fight the virus off without serious illness.
After the firsthand experience with the virus, Melania imparted on Americans a message of hope.
“I encourage everyone to continue to live the healthiest life they can,” she wrote. “A balanced diet, fresh air, and vitamins really are vital to keep our bodies healthy. For your complete well-being, compassion and humility are just as important in keeping our minds strong.”
