An illegal alien who was released into the U.S. by the Biden regime has been arrested for the brutal murder of a woman in Georgia, according to reports.
The horrifying attack unfolded late at night on March 12 in Marietta, a city in Cobb County.
Investigators say Camillia Williams, 52, was assaulted by the suspect, who placed her in a chokehold and then applied his full weight to her neck until she lost consciousness, WSBTV reports.
Her body was later found in bushes in a yard near the scene of the attack.
In the days before her death, Williams reportedly told family members a strange man had been following her.
“She called the dude a weirdo and from my understanding, he pretty much waited until he caught her by herself and did what he done,” the victim’s brother said.
On Tuesday, Cobb County authorities arrested David Hector Rivas-Sagastume, 21, and charged him with felony murder.
Additionally, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has lodged a detainer against him.
On Friday, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) confirmed Rivas-Sagastume is a citizen of Honduras who illegally crossed the southern border, was caught by Border Patrol, and then released into the U.S. on Mar. 17, 2021.
“He was issued a notice to appear and paroled into the country by the previous administration,” DHS told Fox News. “A judge ordered him removed on July 11, 2023. On March 18, 2025, he was arrested by the Cobb County Police Department for capital murder and other crimes.”
“ICE has lodged an immigration detainer with the Cobb County Jail. President Trump and Secretary Noem will not allow criminal illegal aliens—including accused murderers—to be loose on America’s streets.”
