Joe Biden is hosting an LGBTQ celebration at the White House on Wednesday in honor of Pride Month while Americans continue struggling to pay for basic necessities amid soaring inflation and a crashing stock market.
Despite the lowest U.S. consumer sentiment ever measured, inflation at the highest level in 41 years, record-high gas prices, and supply shortages, Biden has decided to rub shoulders with LGBTQ influencers in the East Wing.
“Pride is back at the White House,” Biden told the audience. “Just be you. You are loved. You are heard. You are understood. You do belong. I want you to know that, as your president, all of us on this stage have your back.”

During his remarks, Biden stumbled over the LGBTQ acronym, saying he was proud to sign an executive order for “LGBTQ-L-I, excuse me, plus, Americans.”

“I think we have more LGBTQ+ people than any administration or every administration combined. No, I really mean it,” he added.
Biden was joined by his his wife Jill Biden, VP Kamala Harris and other cabinet officials, including openly gay Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, and transgender four-star admiral of the U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps Rachel Levine.
Just before the Pride party, Biden signed an executive order aimed at countering several Republican measures in states like Florida, where Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) signed into law a bill that prohibits gender ideology subjects from being taught to children K-3.
It also aims to expand LGBTQ indoctrination in schools and in the healthcare system, and remove barriers for LGBTQ couples to adopt children.
“We’ve had to stand up to their governors and state lawmakers as they advance discriminatory legislation,” a Biden official, who wished to remain anonymous, said.
“These attendees represent the best of America. They are diverse, passionate advocates who are fighting to ensure that the promise of freedom and equality is made real for all you can expect the president today to celebrate the historic progress of his administration.”
The event highlights the backwards priorities the Biden administration has given the multiple historic crises unfolding under its watch.
Even CNN on Wednesday eviscerated Biden’s performance in a scathing analysis:

Rather than take meaningful step to address the lowest U.S. consumer sentiment ever measured, record-high inflation and gas prices, and supply shortages, Biden is instead grandstanding with “woke” executive orders which do nothing to alleviate the economic suffering of everyday Americans.
