Joe Biden’s new press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, who is replacing Jen Psaki on May 13, has a long and documented history of perpetuating fake news and sowing political discord, making her the perfect candidate for her new job as Biden’s mouthpiece.
Jean-Pierre propagated the thoroughly disproven Hillary Clinton-contrived Trump-Russia collusion hoax in a series of tweets during its peak in 2016:
Stolen emails, stolen drone, stolen election …..welcome to the world of #unpresidented Trump https://t.co/NI7vqPV6cu

And, Russia is still winning because his puppet Trump continues to flagrantly degrade America’s standing on the global stage. https://t.co/pPeGsWxZlm

Sadly, Putin has always had control over Trump. Putin is laughing back home to Russia. The only thing that surprised Putin is how simple and idiotic Donald Trump truly is. Trump made it incredibly easy for Putin. Russia is winning and we are losing. https://t.co/CBLFd2HIiv

She falsely claimed in 2018 that the Georgia gubernatorial election was stolen from Democrat Stacey Abrams:
Reminder: Brian Kemp stole the gubernatorial election from Georgians and Stacey Abrams.https://t.co/ZIKGTd6U1v

As deputy press secretary, Jean-Pierre accused Republicans of lying about Critical Race Theory indoctrination being pushed in schools following the upset victory of Virginia gubernatorial candidate Glenn Youngkin (R):
“We need to be honest here about what’s going on,” she said. “Republicans are lying. They are not being honest. They are not being truthful about where we stand. And they’re cynically trying to use our kids as a political football.”
In 2018, she peddled the absurd “gang-rape” allegations against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh:
If Brett Kavanaugh indeed does not know the difference between intercourse and sexual assault — that alone should disqualify him to be a Supreme Court Justice. https://t.co/he3MJ1KE4u

By his freshman year, Kavanaugh was eighteen, and legally an adult. During his confirmation hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee, Kavanaugh swore under oath that as a legal adult he had never “committed any verbal or physical harassment or assault of a sexual nature.” https://t.co/H4gkqkFBxV

More than 50 Protesters against Kavanaugh were Arrested on Capitol Hill today. They shared powerful stories of sexual assualt and harassment. https://t.co/CBLmULoOQs

In 2019 Jean-Pierre claimed former President Donald Trump’s “bigotry and racism” would spark a “civil war”:
“Donald Trump put his hand on the Bible — technically two Bibles — and took the oath of the presidency to be a president for all of us,” Jean-Pierre said on MSNBC.
“And since that day, since that moment, every hour, he seems to just prove that to be wrong. He is not a president for black people. He’s not a president for women. He’s not a president for brown people. He’s not a president for the LGBTQ community. He chooses to double down and triple down on bigotry and racism.”
“I don’t know where Donald Trump wants to take this. But wherever it is it’s going to be dangerous. It could lead to some sort of a horrible civil war,” she added.
On top of all that, Jean-Pierre appears to have a glaring conflict of interest given her close partnership with CNN anchor Suzanne Malveaux. They share an adopted daughter.
All in all, Jean-Pierre appears poised to continue the Biden administration’s legacy of petty partisanship with false statements and divisive rhetoric.
