Joe Biden visited Ireland and historically attended a banquet in Dublin Castle Thursday, but his remarks at the state dinner were not without the usual trademark blunder.
At one point at the end of his comments, Biden asked the audience to go out and “lick the world” while discussing cooperation between the US and Ireland.
“Let’s go lick the world. Let’s get it done,” Biden said.

Biden went on to tell a bizarre story about “being a Biden.”
“One of the things that she’d look at me say, ‘Joey, remember, remember who you are,’ like ‘you’re a Biden’ — like what the hell is a Biden? You know what I mean? I’m like, like I’m a, you know, anyway.”
It’s truly a shame for America that the only time the president makes headlines is when he’s committing some ridiculous gaffe.
