Independent journalist Hammerhardy decided to question black Americans living or visiting Florida how they feel about a recent advisory suggesting “African Americans, people of color and LGBTQ+ individuals” avoid traveling to the Republican-led state.
Earlier this month, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) announced its Board of Directors issued a formal travel advisory for all of Florida, stating, “The travel advisory comes in direct response to Governor Ron DeSantis’ aggressive attempts to erase Black history and to restrict diversity, equity, and inclusion programs in Florida schools.”

When citizens were presented with the facts surrounding Florida’s decision to refuse an AP Black History course to be taught in schools, they were quick to realize the media and Democrat politicians were simply lying to the public to get their way.
For example, one man was told the AP Black History course was filled with radical feminism, queer theory, Marxism and sexual content, and he responded, “I feel like that’s not even black at all… You know we have nothing to do with some of these radical theories or communism in the books, you know.”
Others interviewed also agreed queer theory and radical feminism have “nothing at all” to do with black history.
One woman spoke out against the NAACP, telling the group, “You’re not going to stop me from going anywhere just because you feel that way. I go here yearly and I could go every week if that’s what I wanted to do because you’re not going to stop that.”
It’s clear when people are allowed to see both sides of the story, they will typically come to the right conclusion – which is why the media only pushes one side and hides the truth.
