MAGA candidate Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) laid waste to her Republican rival Tuesday, moving her one step closer to securing re-election in November.
Boebert successfully defended her House seat from RINO GOP opponent, state Sen. Don Coram, with a 30-point margin, handily winning over 80,000 votes (65.3%) in Colorado’s District 3 to her opponent’s 42,000 votes (34.7%).
Speaking to a crowd following her victory Tuesday night, Boebert acknowledged she’s “a mom of four, a restaurant owner, and a professional RINO hunter.”
“And I hope this is a big, huge message to any RINOs who try this in the future. You can try to get Democrats to influence our election. It ain’t gonna work,” she said at her victory party in Grand Junction.
During her celebration, Boebert also received a special phone call from President Donald Trump, who told the crowd, “You have one of the greatest congresswomen, I think, in history…We love her. She’s special.”
Additionally, Boebert received more votes than were cast in her district for Democrats, who garnered a paltry 55,000 votes.
The win means she’ll face off in November against Democrat District 3 primary winner Adam Frisch, who received roughly 24,000 votes, according to local media.
Frisch, the CEO of Buy It Mobility who reportedly used $1 million of his own funds in the race, is already attempting to mount a campaign against Boebert, releasing a statement slandering his upcoming opponent as a conspiracy theorist.
“I am building the needed coalition of Democrats, unaffiliated, and the growing number of disenfranchised Republicans to defeat Rep. Boebert in the fall and to save our Democracy from a radical conspiracy nut,” Frisch’s statement says, according to CPR.org.
Boebert’s win came as Republicans endorsed by President Trump won Tuesday night in 11 other primaries across the country, more evidence of a red wave coming for Democrats in November.
Her tremendous victory is a slap in the face to the Jan. 6 House Select Committee’s efforts to demonize President Donald Trump and his supporters ahead of the midterms, and illustrates how the MAGA faction of the Republican party is still thriving and more energized than ever.
