Law enforcement and emergency personnel are currently responding to a mass shooting in Akron, Ohio. 27 people are reported to have been shot, with at least one fatality.
Victims have been transported to local hospitals.

In doorcam footage posted to social media, multiple series of gunshots can be heard in a nearby neighborhood.
The incident apparently occurred at a birthday block party.
