America’s top news anchor Tucker Carlson is parting ways with Fox News, according to a press release by the company.

The statement reads, “Fox News Media and Tucker Carlson have agreed to par ways. We thank hi for his service to the network as a shost and prior to that as a contributor.”

It continues, “Mr. Carlson’s last program was Friday April 21st. Fox News Tonight will air live at 8PM/ET starting this eveening as an interim show helmed by rotating FOX News personalities until a new host is named.”

His departure comes days after Fox settled its lawsuit with Dominion Voting Systems and one day after Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY) called for Tucker Carlson to be taken off air.

“When you look at what Tucker Carlson and some of these other folks on Fox do, it is very, very clearly incitement of violence — very clearly incitement of violence. And that is the line that we have to be willing to contend with,” she said.

This move could spell the end of Fox News as we know it and will ultimately launch a new era of Tucker Carlson whatever he decides to do with his career as he has a massive loyal following.
