Chicago Mayor-elect Brandon Johnson defended rioters who caused chaos on Saturday night, saying they shouldn’t be ‘demonized’, as video emerged of a group of black youths beating a white woman in the street.

Authorities struggled to deal with large mobs of teenagers who smashed up cars, destroyed public and private property, then later engaged in random shootings in downtown areas of the city.

News crews had to pull their reporters out of the area as yet another Democrat-run major city experienced utter bedlam and lawlessness.

Now a new clip has emerged of a white woman being viciously beaten by a large mob of black youths at 129 North Wabash.

“The footage […] is included in a sort of “brag tape” of video clips purportedly recorded during a “large group” incident in the Loop on Saturday night,” reported CWB Chicago.

The video has gone viral, receiving over 10 million views on Twitter alone.

Fox 32 also reported that “a woman whose car was smashed by people jumping on the windshield said her husband was beaten as he sat in the driver’s seat,” and was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital.

Despite innumerable videos showing rioters smashing up shops, gas stations and private vehicles, Mayor-elect Brandon Johnson responded by telling people not to blame the rioters.

Yes, really.

“In no way do I condone the destructive activity we saw in the Loop and lakefront this weekend. It is unacceptable and has no place in our city. However, it is not constructive to demonize youth who have otherwise been starved of opportunities in their own communities,” Johnson said in a statement on Twitter.

“Our city must work together to create spaces for youth to gather safely and responsibly, under adult guidance and supervision, to ensure that every part of our city remains welcome for both residents and visitors,” he added. “This is one aspect of my comprehensive approach to improve public safety and make Chicago livable for everyone.”

Less than a fortnight before the riots, Johnson had asserted that “state-sponsored policing” should not apply to black people.

As we highlight in the video below, instead of acknowledging how they have allowed their cities to become anarchic, crime-ridden hellholes, Democrat politicians are instead blaming retailers like Walmart for closing down flagship stores.

Really makes you think.
