An illegal alien convicted of heinous child sex crimes was caught fleeing back to Mexico after she was released from prison on probation, authorities say.
Vianey Guadalupe Garcia-Velazquez, 22, was apprehended by the Texas Department of Public Safety (TxDPS) on Tuesday in Webb County.
A Texas Highway Patrol trooper pulled Garcia-Velazquez over for a traffic violation in Laredo and learned she was a fugitive attempting to cross the southern border to evade a 10-year probation sentence.
Garcia-Velazquez, a Mexican national who is illegally present in the U.S., was arrested for probation violation and booked into Webb County Jail.
