After refusing US flights repatriating deported illegals, the President of Colombia has asked Colombians illegally residing in the US to return home.
In a message Friday, President Gustavo Petro begged his displaced countrymen to return home to rebuild Colombia — and totally not because Trump is kicking them out.
I ask undocumented Colombians in the US to immediately leave their jobs in that country and return to Colombia as soon as possible.

Petro’s remarks follow an international spat with Donald Trump last week where the US president threatened retaliatory tariffs for turning back US flights, which ultimately resulted in the Colombian government declaring they’d accept the repatriation flights in exchange for dropping the proposed tariffs.
As the spat played out, Trump shared an AI-generated image of himself in a gangster-style zoot suit, with a sign bearing the phrase FAFO in the background, and also featuring a smiley face.
