Joe Biden’s hypocritical nature was made clear on his first day in office.
On the day of Biden’s inauguration, a headline by NBC News read, “‘That’s Cesar Chavez!’: Bust of civil rights icon behind President Joe Biden stirs excitement.”
The excitement stems from the new president appearing to support union workers.
However, on that very same day Biden signed an executive order rescinding the permit for TC Energy to build the massive Keystone XL pipeline.
According to an October 2020 report, the project was set to create more than 8,000 union jobs in 2021 alone!
So, while union-supporting Democrats are led to believe the Biden administration will be friendly to them because he displays a bust of Cesar Chavez in the Oval Office, the reality is he will wreak havoc on America’s working class.
Following the economic impact of COVID-19, the estimated $1.6 billion in wages connected to the would-be pipeline could have helped America crawl out of the financial hole it’s stuck in.
The bust ironically sat directly behind Biden as he signed the order.
