Footage disproves another mainstream media narrative claiming Trump supporters who typically “back the blue” rushed a police line and clashed with law enforcement in DC on Tuesday night.

A video seen over 11 million times on Twitter alone was titled, “Chaotic scene in BLM Plaza as police clash with Trump supporters trying to rush the line.”

Dozens of mainstream media outlets, both conservative and liberal, covered the alleged confrontation, saying “Trump supporters clash with police.”

However, video shows the chaotic scene actually started when a fight broke out between two women and the police simply tried to break up the scuffle.

A black woman can be seen filming with her phone when a female Trump supporter reaches to grab the phone out of her hand.

The woman who was filming responded by punching the Trump supporter in the face.

After the scuffle, a group of guys escorted the woman who punched the pro-Trump lady towards the police line.

While police tried to figure out what was happening, another woman came up and tried to attack the black woman who was filming.

That’s when police used their mace and the scuffle allegedly showing “Trump supporters clashing with police” was captured.
