Democrats in the far-left “Squad” collective had a hissy fit Thursday as one of their members was kicked off the House Foreign Affairs committee.
Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) was removed from committee post in a 218-211 vote, opening the door for a Republican to fill the position.
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez (D-NY) got fired up claiming the vote to remove Omar was based in racism.
Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) broke down in tears as she argued in favor of her fellow Squad partner.
When it came time for House members to shout their “yay” or “nay” votes, Democrats’ audible whining was palpable.
Rep. Omar delivered a defiant speech as the resolution removing her from the committee loomed.
Ultimately, however, Rep. Omar was removed from the committee over her past comments on Israel.
With Republicans retaking the House, it should have been expected Democrats would be removed from committees, but leave it to Democrats to kick, whine, scream and cry on the way out.
