Dr. Suneel Dhand produced a video in August where he talked about the massive failings of the modern medical establishment in regards to preventative care. This does not apply to trauma care nor injury treatment.
Dhand began his video with a short clip of UFC President Dana White saying that he doesn’t trust doctors to keep him health beyond treatment for injury, something Dhand said he completely agrees with as well.
“I have no interest whatsoever in any healthcare interaction, especially when it comes to health and wellbeing, maintaining health, preventive medicine, no thank you, absolutely not,” Dhand said.
He also explained that nobody is arguing that emergency medicine, such as for a broken bone, is not needed. That is, in fact the field Dhand is in himself.
The doctor said that previously, doctors investigated root causes of ailments, however over the last few decades they morphed into prescription medication vending machines which see every ailment as a target for pills and injections. ‘Legalized drug pushers’ he called them later in the video.
“There’s lots of very bad doctors but there are some very good doctors and they don’t even realize how collectively broken their minds have become, absolutely broken to pieces in the current medical paradigm, which is all about prescribe, prescribe, prescribe,” he said. “Oh you see a patient coming through the door, your prescription pad is half out wanting to be written on or typed these days to give a medication, a chemical to put into the body. This paradigm is completely and utterly broken and we are going to realize it one day.”
Dhand explained that when doctors go through medical school they get ‘propaganda’ training by the big pharmaceutical companies and are not taught to think in terms of root causes.
“It is very easy to pull the wool over the eyes of any practicing physician, whether that’s by the physicians society or by the medical journal who is absolutely loaded up with conflicts of interest and financial motivations to prescribe, prescribe, prescribe,” Dhand said. “Doctors at the front lines are merely pawns in this whole process and I don’t believe doctors by any stretch of the imagination are blameless here. How on earth did the medical profession, how did the minds of doctors become so broken where they think that the answer to everything is to pour chemicals into people, never look at root causes, never think about true health and wellbeing.”
Dhand explained that up until relatively recently doctors were much more in-tune with actual health and wellbeing, but since then the medical profession has been effectively bought by the pharmaceutical profession.
The doctor said that if he had a say, he would have doctors focus on root causes and not drug treatments.
Dhand also mentioned how ridiculous it is that the medical field was able to bring the whole world to a halt in 2020 over a common cold but they can’t do anything about the toxic modern environment most people live in, stating that the reason to that is the lack of profit in doing so.
