Three illegal aliens from Georgia have been charged in connection with a robbery and murder at a home in California last weekend, according to reports.
The Los Angeles Police Department was called to a residence in Woodland Hills at around 1 a.m. on April 26.
Officers and first responders found Aleksandre Modebadze, 47, suffering from a serious head wound, Fox 11 reports.
Modebadze was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Investigators determined three suspects had broken into the victim’s home and held him captive.
Modebadze was robbed and beaten to death, authorities say.
Within hours, the suspects were tracked down and arrested.
They have been identified as Paata Kochyashvili, 38;Â Zaza Otarashvili, 46; and Besiki Khutsishvili, 52.
They are all illegal aliens from the Eastern European country of Georgia, law enforcement sources informed Fox News.
Each one has been charged with murder and ordered held on $2 million bond.
Additionally, Immigration and Customs Enforcement has lodged detainers against all three suspects.
