An independent journalist confronted executives of top legacy media outlets over their years-long crusade to deceive the American people with propaganda and fake news.
During a media conference on “building a democratic press” in New York featuring executives for The New York Times, Reuters, The Washington Post, and LA Times, journalist Jose Vega took to the mic and eviscerated them for cheerleading censorship and pushing fake news stories for years in direct violation of journalistic ethics.
“It’s a policy and press hall event. Shouldn’t we be talking about the Nord Stream since that’s the biggest story of the century?” Vega asked from the audience.

He went on to point out how the New York Times went out of its way to discredit veteran journalist Seymour Hersh’s bombshell exposé showing the Biden regime blew up the Nord Stream pipeline.
“I mean, you have the executive editor of The New York Times there who came out with a phony story to try and block Seymour Hersh,” Vega said. “It’s just kind of funny how that happened, you know?”
“Did you even acknowledge Seymour Hersh? All of you are executive editors of papers that broke Pentagon [Papers], My Lai, Watergate. Is this the same papers or not?”
Vega went on to note how the mainstream media has lied about major events dating back to the Iraq War.
“Is there anything you’ve gotten right in the last 20 years? Or am I mistaken about that? It’s kind of funny because Iraq wrong, Syria wrong, RussiaGate really wrong. The list goes on and on,” he said.
“While Julian Assange is in prison, all of you got fat checks because he’s in jail for doing your job,” he added.
Vega also pointed out how former Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson has done more to tell the truth than any mainstream media outlet.
“Tucker Carlson ain’t no Seymour Hersh, but he did something you guys are scared to do: speak the truth and actually be critical of the war. Which is why he was actually fired from Fox News, because you all are cowards,” he said. “None of you actually have had any relevancy. The mainstream press is now dying. Nobody’s ever going to listen to you again.”
The Washington Post editor Sally Buzbee tried to cut him off, but Vega persisted: “We’re on the verge of World War 3! We blew up the Nord Stream pipeline,” he said as security began to drag him out of the event.
Other outraged citizens then took his place, speaking out against the media’s irresponsible and bad-faith reporting on Ukraine while dumbfounded fake news execs looked on.

These fake news peddlers aren’t used to being directly confronted over their lies and the video shows that — which is why it’s so satisfying to watch.
