Rep. Mo Brooks (R-Ala.) blasted CNN when fake news reporter Jim Acosta approached him to ask about January 6.
Walking up to Brooks as he attempted to unlock his bicycle, Acosta was dismissed repeatedly by the congressman, who commented that he did not hold CNN’s reputation in high regard.
“Is there any way we can get you talk about Jan. 6?” Acosta inquired.
“I do not do interviews with CNN because I do not trust CNN to be honorable or truthful,” Rep. Brooks responded.
Brooks continued to slam CNN and deny Acosta as he rode off on his bike.
Acosta recently speculated that political rallies being held by President Donald Trump for Republicans could inspire more Jan. 6-like riots.
“[Pro-Trump Republicans are] living in a different world. They’re in the Q-niverse, I guess you could call it. It’s important to note at the beginning of January 6, some of these same Republicans were blaming it on Antifa. Now they’re blaming it on members of the FBI. You have to wonder who’s next?”
Earlier this month, Rep. Brooks impressively dressed down a reporter who asked if Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) was afraid her “Fire Fauci” Act might anger China.
