The former Director of the National Security Agency Michael Hayden lost his cool after former Acting National Intelligence Director Richard Grenell brought up the Obama administration abusing the U.S. intelligence agencies to unlawfully target President Trump.
“Proof. @BarackObama, @JoeBiden directed their administration to use the powers of government to attack @realDonaldTrump campaign and then transition,” Grenell tweeted Tuesday, including an article showing recently declassified memos proving Hillary Clinton made up the Russian collusion hoax to politically damage Trump.
Rather than present a sensible argument, Hayden, who also briefly led the CIA, instead resorted to profane ad hominem attacks against Grenell.
“You’re an asshole. Really,” Hayden told him.
Grenell responded, not with attacks, but with logic, reminding Hayden that the evidence he presented exposes Hayden and his Deep State ilk in the Obama administration.
“I see you don’t like to be exposed. And so you resort to name calling. Transparency isn’t political,” Grenell said.
John Ratcliffe, the current Director of National Security, declassified CIA memos on Tuesday, including handwritten notes by former CIA Director John Brennan detailing his briefing to then-President Obama about Hillary Clinton’s plot to frame Trump with the phony “Russia collusion” narrative.
