During Thursday’s broadcast of The Alex Jones Show, journalist Patrick Lancaster of PLNewsToday shared his view on the Ukraine-Russia conflict from the streets of Donetsk.
Patrick is one of the only English-speaking correspondents in the area.
Lancaster says most people in the regions fighting for their independence from Ukraine are happy Russia is helping them gain sovereignty.
Regarding the truth about this sometimes confusing geopolitical fight, the independent journalist urges the people of the world to “Do your own research, try to watch videos and reports from every side of the contact line as possible. I’m here in Donetsk, the anti-Ukraine side, and there are journalists on the other side. Watch both sides, think for yourselves. Don’t listen to the narrative the Western mainstream media gives you.”
Lancaster doesn’t think Ukraine has long before it will succumb to Russia’s demands, saying, “Cities are falling by the hour, so much territory has been lost by Ukraine since this morning. All-day we’ve been hearing rumblings and explosions.”
The independent reporter formerly worked with major mainstream outlets like AP, Reuters and others, but the networks would often change the narrative of stories he documented.
After seeing his work used to propagandize by the Western media, Lancaster chose to become a freelance journalist.
When Alex Jones noted his intuition tells him this conflict could spark something larger, Lancaster agreed and said, “This could boil over into World War Three, because this is unprecedented. Every month, every week, every year we keep having more unprecedented events happen like this.”
