Footage captured by Brandon Gray of Just Another Channel shows Capitol Police and Trump supporters in a standoff until mace, flashbangs and other less-than-lethal measures were used against the crowd.
Trump supporters at the front of the crowd can be heard saying, “There’s a million people pushing us guys. Millions of people are pushing us. It’s not us,” while they were pinned between the mob and a police barricade.
After holding as long as possible, law enforcement was simply overwhelmed by the massive amount of bodies pushing against their barricades and their line was penetrated.
