Tucker Carlson took an Australian journalist to task after the reporter falsely alleged the former Fox News host had promoted the Great Replacement Theory claiming white people are being replaced by minorities.
In a tense exchange during an event at the Hyatt Hotel Canberra in Yarralumla, Australia, Tuesday, an Australian Associated Press reporter insisted Carlson had previously espoused the theory, which the host vehemently denied.
“I don’t think I said that,” Tucker told the reporter, who shot back, “Well, it’s been mentioned on your show 4,000 times.”

“Really? When did I say that?” Tucker responded, refuting the remark and going on to challenge the reporter to cite the comment.
Tucker went on to clarify he believes native-born Americans of all races are being replaced by illegal aliens flooding the U.S. through the country’s open borders, a notion known by the United Nations as “Replacement Migration.”
The exchange continued going south from there, with Tucker having to body slam the reporter as she tried to claim Tucker’s promotion of the theory had inspired mass shooters.
“How do they get people this stupid in the media?” Tucker fired back. “Well, look. I’m sorry. I’ve lived among people like you for too long, and I don’t mean to call you stupid. Maybe you’re just pretending to be, but I’ve never…I’m totally against violence. I’m totally against the war in Ukraine.”
Next, the reporter tried to imply Tucker was hypocritical for not supporting gun control, which he explained was a false equivalency.
“No, I don’t support disarming law-abiding people so they can’t defend themselves, so the government has a monopoly on violence. I don’t think so.”
“First of all,” he continued, “in my country that’s illegal, as you know, but moreover it should be illegal in every country. A sovereign person has the right to defend himself and his family period.”
Tucker also demolished a reporter asking about Russian President Vladimir Putin, demanding to know whether Putin had forced the reporter to take a Covid jab.
Without missing a beat, the reporter hilariously went on to defend the jabs’ efficacy.
Tucker mauls this guy as well. The guy is the Australian version of Jake Tapper, angrily fact-checking and generally offended. Look for this tomorrow night. pic.twitter.com/OdLbEIMtKP
