Mainstream media is covering up for Attorney General Merrick Garland’s recent order to the FBI, asking the agency to monitor parents who protest at local school board meetings because they could be engaging in “domestic terrorism.”
An AP fact-check on Tuesday claimed media outlets were mischaracterizing a letter from the National School Boards Association (NSBA) where the group asked the Biden administration to weaponize the FBI against upset parents.
According to AP, the school board group “is not asking Biden to label parents who protest at school board meetings as terrorists.”
However, in the very next sentence, AP admits, “The NSBA asked the administration to do an interagency investigation of threats of violence against school board members and said the threats ‘could be the equivalent to a form of domestic terrorism and hate crimes.’”
So, the group admittedly equated parents threatening school board members with domestic terrorism but somehow mainstream media is managing to twist the narrative.
In its letter to Biden, the school board group also specifically asked the administration to punish parents under “the PATRIOT Act in regards to domestic terrorism.”
Meanwhile, the NSBA CEO Chip Slaven told AP the group never likened angry parents to domestic terrorists, saying, “This is absolutely false. NSBA and school board members don’t want to stop parents from expressing their First Amendment rights or label them as terrorists. Our letter to President Biden was about stopping dangerous and threatening acts that school board members and other education leaders are receiving.”

As the DOJ wages a political war on American parents, some politicians like Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) and Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) are sounding the alarm.
During Wednesday’s transmission of “Fox News Primetime,” Paul noted the DOJ refused to investigate an angry mob that threatened to kill him and his wife, but now wants to treat soccer moms like ISIS.
“Moms at school boards are being told that they’re criminals, potential domestic terrorists, for the crime of dissent and I think criminalizing dissent is something that we should all be appalled with,” Paul said.
Also on Wednesday, Senator Ted Cruz pressed Deputy Attorney General Kristen Clarke on the controversial DOJ stance during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing.
Cruz asked Clarke if she thinks parents upset with critical race theory or mask mandates are “domestic terrorists” before continuing to ask if she thinks BLM and Antifa rioters who destroyed multiple cities should be labeled domestic terrorists.
When she failed to answer Cruz’s question, the senator said, “Ms. Clarke, it is amazing that you are not willing to condemn people who are murdering police officers and firebombing cities because your politics aligns with them, but at the same time when it comes to parents at school boards, you’re perfectly comfortable with calling a mom at a PTA meeting a ‘domestic terrorist.’”
And let’s not forget, Attorney General Merrick Garland’s daughter is married to the co-founder of an education service company that sells critical race theory materials to school districts.
The Biden DOJ is as corrupt as it gets and things will likely only get worse.
