Fauci Flip-Flops, Says He’s “Not Convinced” COVID-19 Developed Naturally

Even Fauci can no longer deny the fact that COVID-19 originated from the Wuhan Institute of Virology as evidence piles up.

NIAID Director Dr. Anthony Fauci, who tried to discredit President Trump’s assertion that COVID-19 came from the Wuhan bio lab, now says he’s “not convinced” the China Virus has natural origins.

During an interview with CCP-linked Politifact on Friday, host Katie Sanders asked Fauci, “Are you still confident that [COVID-19] developed naturally?”

“No, actually,” Fauci responded. “No. I’m not convinced about that. I think that we should continue to investigate what went on in China until we find out to the best of our ability exactly what happened.”

“Certainly, the people who investigated it say it likely was the emergence from an animal reservoir that then infected individuals, but it could have been something else, and we need to find that out. So, you know, that’s the reason why I said I’m perfectly in favor of any investigation that looks into the origin of the virus.”

Fauci’s sudden skepticism about the China Virus’ origins contradicts his former stance on COVID.

“If you look at the evolution of the virus in bats and what’s out there now, [the scientific evidence] is very, very strongly leaning toward this could not have been artificially or deliberately manipulated,” Fauci said in 2020.

“Everything about the stepwise evolution over time strongly indicates that [this virus] evolved in nature and then jumped species,” he added.

Fauci’s remarks come just days after CDC Director Rochelle Walensky admitted during a congressional hearing earlier this week that COVID-19 leaking from Wuhan’s Level 4 biolab was a “possibility.”

The medical establishment has been beginning to come clean about COVID-19’s true origins as more evidence piles up indicating it leaked from the Wuhan Institute of Virology, as Infowars has been reporting over the last year.

For example, former CDC Director Robert Redfield told CNN in March that “most likely etiology of this pathogen in Wuhan was from a laboratory.”

CNN doctor Sanjay Gupta even defended Redfield’s “informed” conclusion last month, saying he was “really was quite adamant that this was the origin of the virus.”

The NIH signed off on gain-of-function research grants to the Wuhan Virology Institute in 2014, leading some to call for Fauci to be investigated for his role in developing the coronavirus.
