American independent journalist Patrick Lancaster, a U.S. military veteran, recently spoke with Russian citizens to learn their opinions on a variety of subjects from the Ukraine war to American citizens and much more.
Reporting from a Russian city near the Ukrainian border, Lancaster spoke with locals who have to deal with Ukrainian drones targeting the area to find out what they had to say about the ongoing conflict.
The first individuals the American asked about the war said they support it, explaining, “the West is guilty” of provoking Russia by encroaching on the nation despite agreements promising to stay away.
In fact, the couple revealed one of their sons is fighting in Ukraine, saying, “He made a decision and signed a contract. We supported him. He turned 18 and immediately flew there.”
When Lancaster asked if they’d like to say something to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, the husband said, “I guess there is nothing to say to Zelensky anymore. He is not a leader of the state. There is no point to try to urge him to negotiations. He should resign, so that the political leadership is changed.”
The man continued, suggesting the Ukrainian people and politicians should oust Zelensky as they did with Yanukovich in 2014.
Regarding Ukrainian soldiers, the Russian father praised them for fighting with a passion similar to Russian soldiers while also claiming they’re “zombified” politically.
The eventual collapse of NATO was also predicted by the man, who went on to note that American and European governments, not citizens, are to blame for current geopolitical tensions.
Overall, the couple felt the U.S. is really running the show for Zelensky and that the American government actually benefits from “Slavs killing Slavs” as both Russians and Ukrainians perish every day.
A pair of men sitting on a park bench told Lancaster Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine was necessary to protect the citizens of the Donbas region who were being bombed by the Ukrainian military for nine years.
A woman explained to the reporter that Zelensky tricked the people of Ukraine by running on a platform of pushing for peace with Russia before turning around and provoking the Kremlin at every opportunity on behalf of his Western puppet masters.
Another lady blasted NATO, called the Ukraine war an “outrage,” and pointed out the American establishment is fully in support of Joe Biden while seeming to be afraid of Donald Trump.
The majority of Russians Lancaster spoke with clarified they are upset with the governments of Ukraine, America and many European nations, but that they have no beef with the millions of citizens of those countries.
The people of the globe see through the New World Order governments who are trying to divide them as nationalism, populism and anti-globalism spread like wildfire worldwide.
