As children’s book author Dr. Seuss is targeted by the cancel culture mob, social media users are pointing out the Obama administration had no problem with him.
The controversy started this week when the Biden administration removed mention of Dr. Seuss from Read Across America Day.
On Tuesday, Dr. Seuss Enterprises announced it would cease publication and licensing of six books by the cartoonist and illustrator: “And to Think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street,” “If I Ran the Zoo,” “McElligot’s Pool,” “On Beyond Zebra!,” “Scrambled Eggs Super!,” and “The Cat’s Quizzer.”
“These books portray people in ways that are hurtful and wrong,” the organization in charge of preserving Seuss’ legacy said in a statement Tuesday.
“Ceasing sales of these books is only part of our commitment and our broader plan to ensure Dr. Seuss Enterprises’s catalog represents and supports all communities and families.”
Now many are highlighting the hypocrisy of the leftist outrage mob, which saw nothing wrong with the books 6 years ago when Barack Obama was in office.
During their reign, the Obamas held numerous events in which they read books to children from the Dr. Seuss franchise, sometimes appearing on stage with characters.

The fake, hypocritical outrage over the beloved children’s author comes as the cancel culture mob has set its sights on another American icon: Mr. Potato Head, who leftists attempted to castrate and make genderless.
