Russian President Vladimir Putin warned in September that NATO allowing the Ukrainian military to launch long-range missiles into Russia would be an official act of war against Russia.

Despite his dire warning, Joe Biden on Sunday just approved of Ukraine’s use of long-range missiles to deploy against Russia.

“We are not talking about authorizing or banning the Kyiv regime from striking across the entire territory. It is already striking with the help of drones other means. But, when it comes to using high-precision, long-range, Western-made weapons, it’s a completely different story,” Putin explained.

The Russian leader noted the “key” thing to understand is that “only NATO servicemen can, in fact, enter the flight assignments into these missile systems. Ukrainian servicemen cannot do this.”

Putin added, “So, this is not about allowing the Ukrainian regime to strike Russia with these weapons or not. It is about deciding whether or not NATO countries are directly involved in a military conflict or not.”

Soon after making these dire remarks, Putin revealed that Russia had made changes to its nuclear doctrine, claiming Moscow would regard an attack by a non-nuclear state that involved or was supported by a nuclear state as a “joint attack against the Russian Federation.”

“We will use NUCLEAR weapons if a mass enemy missile or UAV is launched towards Russia, or when these weapons cross into Russian territory,” he warned.

In response to Biden’s announcement, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Sunday vowed to use the NATO weaponry against Russia as soon as possible, saying “the missiles will speak for themselves.”

Duma adviser Alexander Dugin said the move shows “Biden desperately tries to start nuclear war before he leaves forever.”

Biden’s announcement prompted Republican lawmakers and Trump allies to criticize the outgoing president for trying to stir up a world war just as Trump is set to take office in January.

“On his way out of office, Joe Biden is dangerously trying to start WWIII by authorizing Ukraine the use of U.S. long range missiles into Russia,” Rep. Marjorie Taylor Green (R-Ga.) posted on X. “The American people gave a mandate on Nov 5th against these exact America last decisions and do NOT want to fund or fight foreign wars. We want to fix our own problems. Enough of this, it must stop.”

Elon Musk weighed in, saying, “The problem is Russia will respond reciprocally.”

Donald Trump, Jr. said the military-industrial complex wants to “lock in those trillions” before Trump takes office and enacts his agenda to broker peace.

Hopefully Trump will make a statement condemning this blatant push for war and de-escalate geopolitical tensions before it’s too late.
