So now Our Rulers add insult to their lethal injury: the Patriots protesting a stolen election, globalism, and tyranny in DC on January 6 are “unacceptable,…unAmerican,” “unpatriotic,” “not the American way,” and purveyors of “chaos and anarchy that needs to be stopped”— and that’s according to Rethuglicans!
Never mind that our heroes had turned out in part to support the party’s standard-bearer, Donald Trump.
Naturally, the Dimocrats piled on: “America is so much better than what we’re seeing today,” tweeted President Select, Joe “Usurper” Biden. You’d think it would be better than blatantly fraudulent elections, too, but not when Marxists are subverting a country.
Meanwhile, the pejoratives that went missing over the summer when BLM and antifa pillaged American cities have reappeared. Politicians and their lapdogs in the corporate media resurrected “mob,” “riot,” “stormed,” and even “terrorism” to describe protesters entering a building their taxes maintain. And despite a bitterly divided country, everyone agrees that said entrance was “violent.”
But isn’t that always the case when antifa butts in?
How self-serving of communists to denounce as “violent” those finally defending the country after decades of Marxist onslaughts! Just as they did in 1776, Patriots in 2021 waited until “a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object, evince[d] a design to reduce them under absolute despotism” before taking to the streets. If protecting our lives, liberty and property from an enemy hurling Molotov cocktails at all three is “violence,” then color me violent. A time comes when patience and petitioning either give way to bullets and battlefields or freedom irretrievably vanishes.
We have arrived at that moment.
Nor should we allow antifa’s hijacking the rally to discourage us. As long as patriots fight to live free, we will contend with infiltrators, saboteurs and spies. Even the Founding Fathers trusted “friends” whom the British Crown paid as informants. Marxists never fight fair, nor do morals restrain them. Expect them to continue infiltrating our ranks, where they will discredit us with more false-flag attacks while pitting us against one another.
But an agent provocateur’s evil doesn’t cancel the good that honest and sincere Patriots achieve. Nor does Trump’s erratic support for fair elections, “America First” or anything else: what culminated this week is bigger than any one man or any one ingredient in the national mess. Our fellow serfs who invaded DC risked their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor. We must now build on that sacrifice. Let’s ensure that far from being a flash in the pan, their protest instead becomes another American Revolution to rival the first.
Indeed, we’ve suffered our Boston Massacre. The name of Ashli Babbitt, the “14-year veteran, who served four tours with the US Air Force, and was a high level security official throughout her time in service,” should join those of Samuel Gray, Samuel Maverick, Patrick Carr, Crispus Attucks and James Caldwell as martyrs to liberty. Leviathan’s lackeys murdered her as surely as they did those five men one cold night in March 1770. Intriguingly, the newscasts I’ve heard mention neither Ms. Babbitt’s name nor her democide; she is merely “the woman who died at the protests.” An anonymous casualty doesn’t inspire nearly as much empathy as one with a name and narrative.
Therefore, know that the 35-year-old Ashli leaves a grieving husband, whom she married only in 2019. Understand, too, that she “described herself as a veteran and a libertarian. … She also retailed many of the conspiracy theories”—sic; this is MSN I’m quoting—”shared by alt-right groups, including one about a vast network of high-profile and powerful paedophiles. Babbitt regularly retweeted controversial lawyer and conspiracy theorist”—ahem: when does theory become fact? Exactly how much proof do these propagandists require?—”Lin Wood, a high-profile Trump supporter who has litigated several of the president’s failed lawsuits contesting the election result. … She had also called on the vice-president, Mike Pence – who has split with Trump in refusing to oppose the certification of Joe Biden’s election win – to resign and face charges of treason.”
“The day before she was shot and killed by Capitol police, Babbitt tweeted, ‘Nothing will stop us…. they can try and try and try but the storm is here and it is descending upon DC in less than 24 hours….dark to light.’”
Nothing should stop us, either, from ensuring that Ms. Babbitt did not die in vain. Thomas Jefferson warned that the tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Time to work on the second half of his prescription.
Becky Akers has published two novels of the American Revolution, Halestorm and Abducting Arnold. They celebrate liberty and sedition, among other joys, so buy them now, before they’re banned.
The Capitol police shot 14-year Air Force Veteran Ashli Babbitt in cold blood for merely standing up to get through the window who under the First Amendment was merely petitioning the government for a redress of grievances.
