Democrat Arizona Senator Mark Kelly told MSNBC host and former Biden Press Secretary Jen Psaki that he has “PTSD” from last week’s historic Oval Office meeting between President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Psaki asked Kelly about a meeting he recently attended with Zelensky, and the senator said he has “a little bit of PTSD” from the now-famous Trump beatdown of the Ukrainian puppet politician, before noting the meeting he took part in was drastically different.

“The contrast between the two meetings was quite remarkable. With Zelensky that morning, I think there were about ten maybe a dozen of us Democrats and Republicans. It was very constructive,” he said.

Kelly claimed that when the media left the meeting room, Zelensky expressed thanks “to the American people, the United States Congress and to the President.”

“Not a single one of us expected what happened in the Oval Office to happen. And, I have to say that was a mistake. I think it was a miscalculation by the President. Bullying an ally of ours makes us look weak. And when we are weak, we are less safe,” the Arizona Democrat said.

He also called on Secretary of State Marco Rubio and National Security Advisor Mike Waltz to try to put the relationship between Ukraine and the Trump administration “back together.”

Last week, Alex Jones covered a video released by Kelly where the senator called for U.S. military veterans to fight back against President Trump.
