During an interview with Newsmax host Grant Stinchfield on Wednesday, Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) said he believes Kyle Rittenhouse is not-guilty and would actually make a great Congressional intern.
Gaetz said Rittenhouse, who is on trial for first-degree homicide after a deadly shooting in Kenosha, Wisconsin last year, “is not guilty.”
The Florida congressman said, “He deserves a not-guilty verdict, and I sure hope he gets it because you know what? Kyle Rittenhouse would probably be a good Congressional intern. We may reach out to him and see if he’d be interested in helping the country in additional ways.”
Thursday marks the third day of jury deliberations in the Rittenhouse case, and a verdict could be announced any moment now.
