The Canadian ministry of health announced it has approved a new mRNA Covid-19 vaccine, which it is recommending for everyone six months and older.
In an announcement Tuesday morning, Health Canada revealed after three months of testing Moderna’s SPIKEVAX Covid jab, it will now be rolled out and recommended for people regardless of vax status heading into the fall flu season.
“Since vaccine protection decreases over time, if it has been six months since your last dose, vaccination with the new formulation of COVID-19 vaccine is recommended to provide better protection against variants of concern,” a press release from Health Canada states.
As pointed out by journalist Mike Campbell, the new recommendations mean that for some people this will be their seventh Covid jab if they kept up with the government-recommended jab regimen.
During a press conference on the new vaccine recommendations Tuesday, Canada’s Chief Public Health Officer Theresa Tam, who spoke through an N95 surgical face mask and appeared to be socially distanced from others, acknowledged the government was avoiding labeling the new jab a “booster” and is instead calling it an “updated” vaccine.
Tam, whose health ministry previously recommended face masks during sex and claimed “glory holes” were appropriate barriers to stop Covid-19 transmission, added that “Moderna will start mobilizing vaccines to Canada… aiming for the beginning of October.”
The top Canadian health official also acknowledged the new jab is being recommended to everyone despite the fact the new BA.2.6 subvariant has no increased severity compared to previous variants and actually “appears to be less able to infect cells.”

Canada’s unveiling of the updated vaccine follows radio host Alex Jones’ warning last month based on intel from US government sources that the Biden administration was gearing up to re-implement Covid restrictions, mask mandates and lockdown policies.
The new vaccine announcement comes as US President Joe Biden just last month also revealed he was seeking congressional funding for a new vaccine, which would similarly be recommended to everyone regardless of vax status.
Last year, thousands of angry Canadians taking part in the Freedom Convoy protests shut down streets in the nation’s capital of Ottawa to protest lockdowns, vaccine mandates and other authoritarian Covid-19 edicts.
