Popular comedian and podcast host Andrew Schulz mocked American entrepreneur and politician Vivek Ramaswamy this week for comments he made about U.S. culture venerating “mediocrity” unlike Asian culture.

Ramaswamy, who is now preparing to run for governor of Ohio, said during the Flagrant podcast that he wants to make the Ohio River Valley the next Silicon Valley and have America actually produce semiconductors domestically.
When one of the podcast co-hosts asked if Ramaswamy would use H-1B visas to bring in workers for the proposal, Schulz piled on, sarcastically asking, “How do you deal with these retard Americans bro? We just got retarded Americans in this country and there’s no way we can figure out engineering…”
The soon-to-be Ohio gubernatorial candidate answered, “You know what the sad part is? Some people say that.”
Schulz chimed in, “Yeah, I know. You’re sitting on the couch right now. He’s sitting on the couch right now, the guy who says it.”
Trying to recover from being roasted by the comic, Ramaswamy claimed America is likely the smartest country in the world “because we have a good selection bias on who comes here.”
“You’re still saying it’s the immigrants who come here that make us smart. You’re still saying that,” Schulz noted, before joking, “Just say white Christians are the smartest and everything will be okay!”
