Republicans on the House Judiciary Committee announced on Tuesday an FBI whistleblower has been suspended for exposing the bureau’s January 6th investigations.
In a letter sent to FBI Director Christopher Wray by Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) on Monday, Jordan described the whistleblower’s claims that the bureau is using January 6th to “overstate” the alleged threat of domestic right-wing extremists.
The whistleblower told House GOP members, “The manipulative casefile practice creates false and misleading crime statistics. Instead of hundreds of investigations stemming from a single, black swan incident at the Capitol, FBI and DOJ officials point to significant increases in domestic violent extremism and terrorism around the United States.”
The anonymous FBI source also said January 6 cases were being prioritized over other cases, saying they were “told that child sexual abuse material investigations were no longer an FBI priority and should be referred to local law enforcement agencies.”
Concluding the letter to Wray, Rep. Jordan wrote, “We remind you that that whistleblower disclosures to Congress are protected by law and that we will not tolerate any effort to retaliate against whistleblowers for their disclosures.”
However, it appears as if the bureau’s director ignored this reminder and instead chose to punish the whistleblower by suspending them.
The politicized feds are out of control under the Biden administration as his recent “blood red” speech gave the go-ahead to take down Trump supporters and others opposed to the direction the nation is heading.
