Joe Biden got a cold reception as he finally made his way to the southern border for the first time ever Sunday, being greeted by pro-Trump demonstrators who carried anti-Biden protest signs.
The protests organized in part by the pro-Trump Border Security Coalition featured demonstrators carrying Trump flags and signs reading, “Trump 2024 I’ll Be Back,” “Legal Immigrant Against Illegal Immigration,” and “Impeach 46.”
At the same time, immigrants on the Mexican side of the border begged Biden to change laws so they could be deported back to their home countries — not to Mexico!
The demonstrations come as the Biden admin’s open-border policies have been fiercely criticized by Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) and other Republicans, accusing the administration of failing to secure the southern border as illegal crossings reach an all-time high.
Meanwhile, Biden without a hint of irony toured sections of the El Paso border secured by walls installed under President Donald Trump’s administration – which Democrats at the time pushed back against.

It’s evident Biden’s long-awaited border visit, lasting merely four hours, was a publicity stunt to appease critics, but will lead to nothing substantial.
