The Director of National Intelligence made it clear that the Hunter Biden laptop scandal is not part of some “Russian disinformation campaign.”
John Ratcliffe also slammed Representative Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) and others who attempt to use the intelligence community for political gain, according to Politico’s Quint Forgey.

Now, the mainstream media is in unison pushing the ’emails are Russian’ narrative in an attempt to shift focus from the content of Hunter Biden’s emails. The NY Post writes:
It’s particularly rich that The New York Times has fixated on the “unverified” excuse, since it’s spent much of the Trump era offering supposed dirt from anonymous sources — which, by definition, makes the info unverifiable…
More significantly, this is true of the Times and Washington Post reporting that built vast hysteria over “Russiagate” in the administration’s first days…
Now, suddenly, with a trove of information — which, again, the Bidens aren’t even claiming is false — these same outlets want to ask endless questions about the chain of evidence. A chain of evidence that The Post has been up-front and open about.
Just last week Schiff, who is the Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, hosted a virtual hearing designed to stop the spread of “misinformation, conspiracy theories” online.
No Republicans showed up to the hearing and none of the speakers called out Schiff for his own peddling of the disproved Trump-Russia hoax.
