Joe Biden’s press secretary Jen Psaki blamed Vladimir Putin and oil companies for the skyrocketing gas prices in America in a public service announcement that has since been mocked to oblivion.
“Putin’s price hike is hitting Americans at the pump. Because of Vladimir Putin, gas prices are up nearly $0.90 since January,” Psaki said. “And right now, the oil and gas industry is sitting on nearly 9,000 unused but approved permits for production on federal lands.”
Unfortunately for Psaki, YouTube or the censors controlling the official White House account forgot to turn off the comments section, opening up the Biden administration to humiliating ridicule and truth bombs by savvy citizens who know that Biden’s radical policies are the real culprit behind rising fuel prices and inflation.
“And I suppose it’s Putin’s fault that the pipeline approvals were pulled too?” one user asked, referring to Biden shutting down the Keystone XL pipeline on day one of his puppet presidency.
Other users conditioned by the environment of censorship were amazed that the comments were left open.
“Wow! The comments are turned on. Who let that happen?” mused one user.
“I can’t believe the comments are on,” said another.
“If only we could see the dislikes,” lamented a user, referring to YouTube’s decision to remove the dislike feature for videos.
“Just ignore the last year of spending, money printing, inflation….Russia Man Bad,” a user joked.
“Gas prices were already skyrocketing BEFORE the issue with Russia,” one user pointed out. “It doesn’t matter how many permits for drilling you give if you aren’t providing permits to build a pipeline that would move what’s drilled for. The administration is a disgrace!”
“Love how she’s negotiating a new job with a company that supposed to be holding her and the administration accountable,” a user said, referring to Psaki’s imminent move to MSNBC. “And no one finds this troubling.”
“Even she knows she is a liar…that’s why she’s quitting and trying to get a job at MSNBC,” agreed another.
“You always blame the Russians…always,” another said, referring to the Democrats’ years-long Russian collusion hoax against former President Donald Trump.
This highlights precisely why the corrupt Biden administration and its Democrat allies in Big Tech impose censorship tactics across social media and the internet — because they cannot control the narrative otherwise.
How long until these comments are eradicated 1984-style?
This also explains why the left is melting down over the prospect that Trump could be reinstated on Twitter after Elon Musk became a majority shareholder of the company, vowing to improve free speech in the de facto digital public square.
