Kristi Leigh spoke in support of a Texas Education Agency policy proposed by Governor Abbott that is designed to keep obscene and pornographic material out of school libraries.
She took the opportunity to confront the school board after they made sure the public made a connection between her full legal name and the shorter version she has used as a public figure since being on television for 15 years.
Librarians and teachers are resisting more oversight, apparently thinking they should be able to keep and market obscene material to students because… they have master’s degrees.
