UK media outlet the Daily Star set up a livestream video of a head of lettuce last Thursday in an experiment to see if it would go bad before recently elected UK Prime Minister Liz Truss was ousted from office.
In an amazing victory for vegetables everywhere, the iceberg lettuce wearing a blonde wig and googly eyes managed to outlast Truss.
The livestream is still going, and it appears as if the now-famous lettuce is throwing a sweet party.
Truss lasted just 45 days in office before announcing her resignation on Thursday afternoon.
Needless to say, the internet is having fun with the stunt.
