A Methodist church in California is using its nativity scene this Christmas to push BLM propaganda.
In the homage to BLM set up at the Claremont United Methodist Church in Claremont, Joseph tends to Baby Jesus as Mary joins protesters wearing face masks who hold up signs reading, “Black Lives Matter,” “Say their names,” and “I can’t breathe!”

Above them are displayed the names of alleged police violence victims.
The church’s minister says, despite BLM having nothing to do with Christmas, she decided to politicize the nativity to call attention to “racism.”
“We couldn’t think of any other issue that we wanted to keep under the light of the Bethlehem star than the need to address racism,” Rev. Karen Clark Ristine told the Los Angeles Times.
”Mary knows the sorrow of any parent who has ever lost a child, and she stands in solidarity with all who seek justice,” Ristine claimed, adding, “We don’t want the need for continuing conversation of racism and white supremacy to get lost in news cycles.”
The designer of the nativity, Genaro Cordova, told the Times he wanted a reference to Covid-19 because, “’We thought that racism was really worse, the worst epidemic that maybe we had around the world.”
“COVID is going to pass, but the struggle [of] our brothers and sisters, Black Americans, is going to continue for a long time.”
Claremont Methodist last year used its nativity to criticize the Trump administration’s border control policies, putting Mary and Joseph in separate cages with Baby Jesus wrapped in a mylar blanket.
