Flood waters pushed up against the Rapidan Dam in Minnesota and eroded land around it on Monday, prompting officials to declare the dam in danger of imminent collapse.

Overhead footage depicted massive piles of wood and debris pressed up against the dam, with flood waters creating a path around the dam by eroding land and destroying trees and a road.

“The Dam is in imminent failure condition,” the Blue Earth County Sheriff’s Dept. announced in a Facebook update Monday morning. “We do not know if it will totally fail or if it will remain in place, however we determined it was necessary to issue this notification to advise downstream residents and the correct regulatory agencies and other local agencies.”

An update from the sheriff’s office Monday afternoon said “The dam [is] still intact and there are no current plans for a mass evacuation.”

The dam’s imminent failure was seen by many as the perfect symbol of America’s collapsing infrastructure under Biden, while the uni-party worries more about funneling money to foreign countries.
