Most people watching the polls on election night couldn’t believe Democrat stroke victim John Fetterman, who has tremendous trouble speaking, was beating Republican candidate Mehmet Oz in Pennsylvania’s Senate race.
However, folks at MSNBC were not only unsurprised by the development, but ecstatic about the prospect of Fetterman, who famously started a debate last month by wishing everyone “good night,” could one day be president.
Case in point, MSNBC host Katy Tur, who ridiculously touted Fetterman as a viable candidate for the US presidency.
“Fetterman, as a nominee at some point for president,” Tur said, adding, “I know there’s some variables obviously,” as co-hosts laughed.
“Just a few,” chimed in former Biden press secretary-turned-MSNBC analyst Jen Psaki.
Tur continued, “…But I just, you know, what he did in the super-red, deep-red parts of Pennsylvania and the way that he ran ahead of Biden, ran ahead of Trump, and it makes you wonder about his future.”
One thing’s for sure — Fetterman’s right at home in the Democrat party, considering Joe Biden’s frequent flubs and gaffes.
